HP Pavilion 15-ac053TX (M9V70PA) Laptop (Core i7 5th Gen/8 GB/1 TB/Windows 8 1/2 GB)

First of all, I am not a gaming person. so no review for games and gamersnnI have purchased this laptop from HP world (authorized seller) last week for much lesser price.nnthis is slim, sleek and less weight. looks good with rough outer surface and brushed design (soft and plain surface) inside.nnI am not discussing about specs as they are clearly mentioned and discussed.nnAs I said earlier, I am not a gaming person but purchased this laptop for far higher high end computations. After few days of heavy computations (win8.1 and linux installed in vm ware) here are my observations:nnBuild quality: unquestionable. brand speaks more. light weight.ngraphics: butter smooth and very impressive.nbattery: heavy computation for about 3.5hrs (24% remaining), with wifi on. faster chargingnspeed: notably, very fast. much more faster when compared to my hp desktop with similar config (2nd gen i7 processor). till now I never felt any substantial heat generation.nwifi: decentnnon flip side ( why not 5 star!!)n8gb ram (enough for most of the computations) with 1 free unused slot...... supports max 8gb only... could not extend RAM. nubuntu had problem with radeon graphics during installation. I have downloaded latest catalyst driver pack and installed with great struggle. I did not face this issue with my desktop. ubuntu dual boot (alongside) ... not possible. it might be due to OEM issue.nnI can give 4.5/5nnfinal verdict: beauty outside....beast inside......

I received a used note book not a new brand. When I opened it and started lap top I was shocked. The lap top was personalised by somebody else and had a pre set pass word. Due to pass word lap top was not opening. I quickly realised that a used lap top has been shipped to me. Very bad experience when u have paid ur hardearned money for new macine and u get old machines.
