As the name indicates, the HP Pavilion 15-B001TU Sleekbook comes in an extremely slim and light outfit allowing you to carry it almost anywhere. It has got sufficient power to make light of all kinds of business tasks. It boasts of a mighty hard disk, HD webcam, high speed USB ports, SuperMulti optical drive and powerful speakers. However, you will have to be careful for maintaining its glossy outfit.

Display and Design

 

The HP Pavilion 15-B001TU Sleekbook carries a 15.6-inch HD Brightview LED backlit display with the usual resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.

 

What steals the show is its slim profile as you can easily judge from its name. It is wrapped in a 21.1mm thick body which has a low weight of 2.1kg giving you the scope to carry it almost anywhere. The sparkling black finish however acts like a magnet to dust, scratches and fingerprints.

 

Processor and OS

 

Doing the duty under the hood is a mighty 1.7GHz Intel Core i5 processor belonging to the 3rd generation family and based on HM77 Express chipset. Supporting it is a standard 4GB DDR3 RAM expandable up to 8GB. For managing rich videos and games, it relies on the inbuilt Intel HD 4000 GPU. It runs on 64 bit Windows 8 OS.

 

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

 

The HP Pavilion 15-B001TU Sleekbook sports a HP TrueVision HD webcam combined with digital microphone for better video calling experience. The 750GB SATA hard disk is sufficient for storing a large volume of files of all kinds.

 

It has got a SuperMulti DVD burner so that you can transfer data via disks at a fast pace. It is furnished with an island style textured keyboard and gesture supported touchpad. Powered by Dolby Advanced Audio v2.0, the dual Altec Lansing speakers give unbeatable theatre like experience.

 

Battery and Connectivity

 

The HP Pavilion 15-B001TU Sleekbook runs the show with a 4 cell Li-ion battery and can be connected via features like WLAN, Bluetooth v4.0, HDMI out, 2 USB 3.0 slots, 1 USB 2.0 port, Ethernet port, digital media reader and VGA port.
