HP Pavilion 15-n209tx (F6C49PA) Laptop (Core i5 4th Gen/4 GB/1 TB/Windows 8 1/2 GB)

Being a past HP laptop user for almost 6.5 years; I have known the advantages and disadvantages of choosing HP Laptop again. Major problem in all of the HP laptop is/was heating issue. And because of the same my old laptop died. Mainly because of overheating issues in graphics chips. But this time I must say that HP have done a good job. nnComing to pros and cons of this laptop.nPros:n1) Looks - Simply superb. Clean and neat placement of ports. Laptop appears very thin.nWhite/silver color looks way too good. n2) NVidia Graphics card - GT740M 2GB - It is good graphics card and very future proof but I not tested it to the limits. For playing most of the games it doesn't get fired off by default. Intel Graphics takes care of most of the things. Some of the old generation games like SimCity 4 etc. are not easily compatible with this graphics card. Need to tweak into many things to get them work.n3) RAM - 4GB. It's not huge but performs a bunch of multi-tasking without any issues.n4) Windows 8.1 - Contrary to many reviews wrote here on flipkart regarding Windows 8.1; I say that Windows 8.1 is really nice OS. It moves you further from icon based systems and uses a tile based approach to give more in-depth feeling of ease and usability.nOS is very intuitive and feels fast.n5) USB 3.0 - Although it's standard now-a-days; this laptop has 2 USB 3.0 ports and its really useful for fast data transfer. Tried transferring 250GB of data in around 50 to 60 minutes.n6) Cooling - Since processor Haswell based i5 4200 U and coupled with HP coolsense technology and with the placement heat release areas this laptop offer very cool and fast performance. Most of the time it is absolutely cool without any increase in temperature. n7) Touchpad - Synaptics touchpad implementation on this laptop is really wonderful .Providing many multi-finger gestures with ease and they are really usable. For e.g Single finger scroll. Two finger scroll, Swiping across edges etc.nnCons : n1) Weight - It is heavy laptop. Though look is very slick and thin, it is heavy laptop. n2) Dirtiness - Being silver/white color finish it tends to get dirtier fast. Need to take care of using it with absolutely clean hands. n3) Power adapter cable - It is little bit shorter. But it is ok.nnRegarding current offer going on this laptop, like HP Happy Holidays offer and 1 year ADP; it requires to register it on hp website and there one need to fill Purchasing details such as "Partner name". Flipkart's invoice do not have any partner name on it and it is making me confused about how to avail this offer. Flipkart must provide full-proof invoice.
