The HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-r017dx (G9D75UA) is a high definition BrightView WLED-backlit 15.6-inch touchscreen display notebook with 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution. For easy typing and pointing purposes, it features full-size backlit keyboard and multi-touch gesture supported touchpad. It arrives in classic black-colored body with 25.6mm thickness and weighs only 2.4kg.
Processor and OS
The HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-r017dx (G9D75UA) operates on 64-bit Windows 8.1 operating system, one of latest and most advanced laptop OS. The notebook functions on Intel Core i3 4010U fourth generation processor with a processing speed of 1.7GHz. The onboard RAM capacity is 4GB which is further configurable to 8GB via memory slots. There is no dedicated graphics memory yet basic Intel HD 84440 graphics is installed.
Camera, Storage and Multimedia
This touchscreen Pavilion series notebook is given with SATA type hard disk drive (HDD) with huge storage capacity of 750GB to store all the necessary information. The webcam is HP TrueVision make to support all webcam related activities. The sound devices are digital microphone and stereo speakers with HD audio solution. SuperMulti DVD burner helps to transfer hard disk data to CDroms and DVDs.
Connectivity and Battery
The HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-r017dx (G9D75UA) notebook is provided with 3-cell lithium-ion battery for long laptop use. The device for connectivity and networking contains Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, Bluetooth v4.0, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, three USB ports, HDMI port and Digital Media Reader.
