Overall: I have bought HP 2000-2D02TU Laptop (2nd Gen PDC/ 4GB/ 500GB/ DOS) from Flipkart from the retail seller"Supremeindia" and to my surprise... the DVD drive does not work because of which Im still unable to install the Operating Syste...

With the 2000-2D02TU, HP has managed to combine the best of sleek looks with powerful specs, which include a good display, equally good processor and RAM and enough storage. If only Windows had been provided, the specs would have been perfect. That said, however, the device can still be considered as an ideal option for anyone seeking the best of both design and performance in this price range.
A powerful yet beautiful beast

Design and Display

The latest laptop to come out of HP's stables sports a glossy black liquorice casing that raises its style quotient several notches. Combining utility with style are a full-size standard keyboard and a touchpad with multi-touch gesture control. The display itself is a brilliant 15.6 inches of HD (1366 x 768 pixels resolution) BrightView LED-backlit LED display, that is capable of rendering videos in breathtaking clarity.

Processor and OS

The laptop has the power to handle even moderately heavy workloads, thanks to the 2.2GHz Intel Pentium 2nd Gen Dual Core processor (B960 variant), coupled with a good 4GB of RAM. For gamers, HP has provided the Intel HD GPU. The default OS of the device is DOS.
