Verdict
The HP ProBook 440 G5 clearly has the upper hand among another laptop in its price range largely due to the features like configuration, excellent storage capacity and it's not just about the technicality the display aspect of the device also adds to the overall rating of the laptop. However, the missing fingerprint scanner is a slight disadvantage of the laptop which the user have to deal with.
Display and Storage

The HP ProBook 440 features a 14-inch Diagonal HD SVA Anti-Glare slim LED Backlit display with a native screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels which makes the viewing experience joyous. While the vividness and unique colour pattern add on the display aspect of the laptop. The storage component of the device is equipped with 1TB HDD hard disk drive storage capacity    

Configuration and Connectivity

On the processing front, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-8250U (8th gen) processor along with a clock speed of 1,6Ghz. The processor is coupled with a 4GB DDR4 RAM which facilitates the process of multitasking. On the other hand, the presence of Intel UHD 620 graphics processor accounts an excellent gaming experience. It is based on the Windows 10 Professional with a 64-bit architecture. The regular connectivity options include- Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth v4.1.  

Battery, Camera and Input Device

The battery section of the laptop is equipped with a 3 cell Li-ion battery which provides an above par battery backup. While the front webcam allows a decent video calling experience while HD 720p video recording adds to the camera prowess of the camera section. The input device of the laptop consist of a clickpad with multi-gesture touch support, and a full-size Spill-resistant HP keyboard.
