HP ProBook 4440s (D0N62PAACJ) Laptop (Core i3 3rd Gen/2 GB/750 GB/DOS)

I bought this product from a local dealer as it was not in stock on flipkart and I got it in about a thousand bucks less with some hp accessories. When I opened the bundle and got to using it, I can say that it was a totally different experience altogether than using any other laptop. It was stylish, lighter, slimmer. Everyone around me appreciated it. The battery backup is coming out to be good, the booting, shutting and resuming windows is pretty fast. The keyboard is very comfortable to type with.nThe only things which are setting my mood off are that it doesn't have a backlit keyboard and the default operating system provided is just windows 7 home basic. I feel it should be atleast home premium, if not ultimate. Rest all seems fine. The graphic card seems good for light games, the heavy ones are remaining to be tried by me.nReally a value for money i must say :)

I've purchased this model ultrabook on 03rd November 2012 and upgraded it to windows 8 on 27th November 2012. In 48 hours it started to fall apart. By 29th Nov evening it stopped working completely.nnNow starts the real trouble - I've given a call on costumer care and they have sent some service engineer the next day. Engineers are totally ill prepared. It's funny and disgusting that HP sells ultrabooks without optical disc drive and it's engineers can't work and solve issues without one. I'm pretty sure that the engineer was himself a person who never knew about the systems. He tried his hands on my system and after more than 2 hrs struggle told me that the system is fine and restored it back to Windows 7. Suggested I update it again to Win8. In 36 hrs from that point, the system collapsed again
