Display and Configuration
The HP ProBook 640 G2 (V1P74UT) laptop features a 14-inch SVA anti-glare slim LED-backlit display which outputs a screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Inside the system, there is a 2.6GHz Core i7-6600U (6th Gen) processor which powers the device. It is paired with an 8GB of DDR4 RAM, which can also be expanded up to 16GB to ensure good performance during multi-tasking. The graphical requirement of the device is taken care by the inbuilt Intel HD 520 GPU, while the laptop boots on Windows 7 Professional operating system.
Connectivity and Camera
In terms of connectivity, the laptop offers options such as a Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, one USB 3.0 slot, a multi-format SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port. Similar to other laptops, it also features an integrated webcam equipped above the display, which can captures HD videos and assists video calling.
Body Looks and Input Devices
The laptop comes in a nice silvered coloured body which measures 340 x 236 x 28 mm and weighs 2Kg. Input devices include a Touchpad with on/off button, which supports 2-way scroll and is gesture enabled. The device also features an HP Premium spill-resistant keyboard for comfortable typing.
Storage and Battery
The device houses a 256GB Solid state drive, which takes care of the user`s storage needs. It churns out its required energy from a three cell Li-ion battery, which claims to render a backup to the device for more than 10 hours.
