Verdict
The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite is a great mid-range tablet that has all the features to make it an all-round performer. It features great battery backup, good quality cameras that makes video calling more clearer and good configuration to handle multitasking and gaming. In short, it can render a seamless performance to the users. The only drawback it can face is the lack of VoLTE features. If budget is a not a problem, one can surely go or this tablet

Display and design

The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite flaunts a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display having a screen resolution of 1,200 x 1,920 pixels and a pixel density of 224ppi that will provide users with the good quality viewing experience. It has a great slim and comes in Champagne Gold and Space Grey colors variants.

Os and configuration

The Tablet comes with the Android v8.0 (Oreo) operating system and is customized by the EMUI on top. Under the hood, it carries an octa-core (2.4GHz, quad-core, Cortex A53 + 1.7GHz, quad-core, Cortex A53) processor with the HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset and HiSilicon Kirin 659 GPU. Together, it can render satisfactory performance for the users. There is a 3GB RAM that will keep it lag-free while gaming and multitasking.

Storage and cameras 

The MediaPad M5 Lite has an inbuilt storage of 32GB which is good. It also comes with an expandable memory slot that supports up to 256GB, all users will require. It has an 8MP rear camera that can give average pictures and an 8MP front camera which can deliver good video calling experience.

Battery and connectivity

The device is equipped with a massive 7,500 Li-Polymer battery which will keep the device active for a day with a single charge. The tablet supports 4G connectivity for voice and video calling. Other connecting features include Wi-Fi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot, A-GPS, Glonass, etc.
