Acer has announced the TravelLite TL44-53M-G2, a 14-inch business notebook powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and the Intel vPro platform. The brand says it targets SMBs, large enterprises, and global capability centres that want AI-ready performance with strong security and remote manageability. Intel India also describes the laptop as made in India, adding to the growing list of locally built PCs from global brands. It will be sold through Acer’s commercial and enterprise channels, with pricing not yet disclosed.
Availability
The TravelLite TL44-53M-G2 will be available through Acer’s commercial and enterprise channels. Configurations and pricing will vary by customer requirements.

Performance and AI
The TravelLite runs on the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 platform. It spreads workloads across the CPU, GPU, and NPU for responsive performance and efficient operation. Acer says this supports productivity, collaboration, content creation, and local AI applications. However, the press release does not name the exact processor SKUs or give NPU TOPS figures.
Security and manageability
Intel vPro provides hardware-assisted security for business endpoints. It also supposedly lets IT administrators remotely manage, diagnose, and maintain devices across distributed environments. For enterprise buyers, this visibility into device health is often as important as raw performance.
Design and display
The notebook has a full aluminium chassis, is under 18mm thin and under 1.4kg, and is MIL-STD 810H certified. The 14-inch FHD IPS display supposedly offers 300 nits of brightness in a 16:10 aspect ratio, and the 180-degree hinge lies flat. A 5MP IR camera with Windows Hello, stereo speakers with DTS Audio, and noise-cancelling microphones cover video calls.
Connectivity and upgradeability
Two USB Type-C ports support Thunderbolt, DisplayPort, and USB charging. Wireless connectivity comes from Intel Wi-Fi 7 (BE211) 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.4. The laptop supports up to 128GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory and has dual M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD slots, including PCIe 5.0 x4 support. That expandability lets IT teams configure machines for different roles.
In the 14-inch vPro business notebook segment, the TravelLite competes with the Dell Pro 14, HP EliteBook 6 series, and Lenovo ThinkPad T14 and L14 lines. Its main selling points seem to be its sub-1.4kg aluminium build, support for PCIe 5.0 storage, and local manufacturing. Acer has not disclosed battery capacity or specific battery life. Pricing is also unconfirmed, so a direct value comparison must wait.
Acer is pushing deeper into the commercial segment, where manageability, security, and fleet-level support matter more than consumer features. The India-built angle also fits the broader trend of PC brands, including ASUS and GIGABYTE, localising production.
