Apple is expanding its iCloud+ subscription in India to include Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost. The change will roll out this month, giving iCloud+ subscribers access to Apple’s streaming service and gaming subscription alongside cloud storage and privacy features.
The iCloud+ plans in India start at Rs 75 per month for 50GB of storage. Users can also share their subscription with up to five family members through Family Sharing, making the expanded plan more relevant for households already using multiple Apple devices.
iCloud+ inclusions in India
Apple TV gives subscribers access to Apple’s original series, films and documentaries, including Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio and CODA. Apple Arcade, meanwhile, offers more than 200 games without advertisements or in-app purchases. The catalogue includes titles such as Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Sneaky Sasquatch and NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, with games available across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV 4K.
The expanded iCloud+ subscription also includes Apple Music Select, a collection of ad-free curated radio stations. Users who want the full Apple Music service can subscribe separately for Rs 115 per month for the Individual plan or Rs 145 for the Family plan.
The move changes how Apple sells its entertainment services in the country. Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as individual subscriptions directly from Apple in India. Existing subscribers will continue to have access through their iCloud+ subscription, with their individual subscriptions cancelled. Apple says Apple Arcade game progress and saves will be preserved.
Apple One will also no longer be available to new subscribers in India. Existing Apple One customers can continue using their current subscription. The change effectively makes iCloud+ the entry point for Apple’s entertainment services in India, rather than adding another standalone subscription. It also gives Apple a way to add more value to its cloud-storage plans as users compare them with competing storage and entertainment subscriptions.
For existing iCloud+ users, the change adds Apple TV and Arcade without increasing the subscription price. Those who primarily need cloud storage should therefore get additional services at no extra cost, while users considering Apple’s ecosystem subscriptions can compare the Rs 75 starting price with their existing storage requirements and whether they would actually use the bundled entertainment services.
