Boltt reveals design of its upcoming Ace and Evo smartphones ahead of August 25th launch
With Fire-Boltt entering the smartphone scene with its ‘Boltt’ brand, the company has officially revealed the designs of its upcoming two smartphones ahead of the launch. Set to unveil on August 25th, Boltt will release two smartphones between the Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 segment, named Boltt Ace and Boltt Evo. While the specifications are still under wraps, here’s how the said smartphones will look.
Boltt Ace and Evo designs revealed
Per Boltt’s official press release, the Ace and Evo will measure 7.95mm in thickness, which the company claims is slimmer than most smartphones in their respective price segments. Coming to the actual designs, the Boltt Ace will comprise a large rectangular camera housing with four circular cutouts to house the cameras and LED flashlight. While the bottom chin isn’t visible in the renders, the phone will sport symmetrical top and side bezels.

It’s confirmed to carry a flat-edged side frame, with the volume and power buttons sitting on the right side of the phone. In conversation with 91mobiles, Arnav Kishore, Founder & CEO of Boltt, has confirmed that both phones will come in five to six colourways, of which Boltt has revealed the Wine Red finish of the Ace today.
Moving on to Boltt Evo, the smartphone flaunts a more subtle squarish camera module but with two protruding camera lenses. Just like the Ace, it gets a flat-edged sideframe and will feature Arctic White as its headlining colour shade, along with others. The company says both handsets are meticulously crafted and refined to stand out in their segment.
In our Boltt smartphones launch announcement story, we have already detailed that the company is aiming to target the budget segment with a 4G and 5G phone, though it’s unknown as of now which will be the 5G-capable one between Ace and Evo. Besides that, both phones will sport a close-to-stock Android interface with no bloatware. The company has partnered with Flipkart to sell its smartphone online, while also setting up 400 service centres across India for after-sales support.
While there are many options already available in the market that offer a clean Android interface with 5G support under Rs 20,000, like the Lava Virat V1 series, Ai+ Nova 2 series, and HMD Vibe 2, it could still be worth checking Boltt smartphones to see what else they’re offering in terms of raw specifications and innovation.
