Update (August 2025): The OnePlus 13R launched in January 2025 as leaks predicted, and most of the rumoured specs turned out to be true. The phone comes with a big 6.78-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen and runs on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It offered two variants, with 12GB or 16GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. You get three cameras on the back: two 50MP sensors (main and telephoto) plus an 8MP ultrawide and a 16MP selfie camera.
There’s no headphone jack, but you do get stereo speakers, NFC, IR blaster, and a big 6,000mAh battery with fast 80W charging. The design is thinner and lighter than the 12R, with colour options called Astral Trail and Nebula Noir. The OnePlus 13R ships with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.
Original story follows
OnePlus 13R rumours have been circulating online for months now, with the launch finally around the corner. Like previous models, the OnePlus 13R is also expected to launch as the global version of the OnePlus Ace 5, launching in China this month. The OnePlus 13 global launch is confirmed for January, which is when we should see the 13R too. Before that, here’s an early Christmas gift from us, courtesy of OnLeaks, who has shared the full spec sheet of the OnePlus 13R with 91mobiles.
This leak covers all the important details about the OnePlus 13R, including its display, cameras, battery, and colours.
OnePlus 13R will feature a 6.78-inch (1264 x 2780) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 450 PPI. This is the same as the OnePlus 12R, but there could be upgrades in areas like peak brightness. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset from last year. OnePlus 12R has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The OnePlus 13R is said to launch with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There could be more variants at launch or later, as the OnePlus 12R is available in three configurations. The handset will house a triple-camera setup of 50 MP (f/1.8) + 8 MP (f/2.2) + 50 MP (f/2.0) and a 16 MP (f/2.4) front camera. One upgrade here is the new 50MP camera on the OnePlus 13R.
The handset will pack a 6,000mAh battery like the flagship OnePlus 13. It surprisingly has 80W fast charging support, which is a downgrade as the 12R supports up to 100W. The smartphone will run OxygenOS 15.0 based on Android 15 out of the box. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, in-display optical fingerprint sensor, and Infrared remote control. In terms of dimensions (161.72 x 75.77 x 8.02mm), the OnePlus 13R will be slightly shorter and thinner than the 12R. It will also weigh a gram lighter than the 12R. Its colour options are Nebula Noir and Astral Trail. We might see a third colour variant a few months after its debut.
We should know all about the OnePlus 13R once the Ace 5 launches in China. It should come with no changes except for the price, obviously, and configurations.
