HMD Vibe 2 5G price in India (rumoured)
The HMD Vibe 2 5G is said to be priced at Rs 8,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. This is on par with its predecessor, which is impressive at a time when the industry has been reeling with increasing memory prices. The upcoming smartphone is also tipped to come in 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants, priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively.
With this pricing, the HMD Vibe 2 5G will take on rivals such as the AI+ Nova 2 and the Tecno Spark Go 3 in the segment. In terms of performance, the smartphone is expected to be on par with the AI+ Nova 2, as both devices reportedly feature the same chipset and battery capacity. However, HMD’s focus on delivering a clean, near-stock Android experience could give the Vibe 2 5G an advantage over the competition.
HMD Vibe 2 5G specifications

The HMD Vibe 2 5G will sport a 6,000mAh battery, which is on par with other contemporary smartphones. This should ensure a long battery life, which is something that budget smartphone buyers look forward to. Per the tipster, the handset will support 18W fast charging, which is again pretty standard for the segment and should ensure a relatively quick top-up.
Moving on, the Vibe 2 5G is likely to sport a 6.75-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. At the heart of the smartphone may lie the Unisoc T8200 SoC, which is 5G capable. The handset is also tipped to include a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor. This will be housed in a large camera plateau, similar to the iPhone 17 Pro. The official renders reveal a secondary camera on the smartphone, but details about it remain bleak at the moment.
For selfies and video calling, the HMD Vibe 2 5G could feature an 8MP front camera. Furthermore, the smartphone will allegedly offer IP64 water and dust resistance. The OEM has confirmed the Vibe 2 5G in a Cosmic Lavender colour, but more options are expected to be available.
That’s everything we know so far. If you have been considering a budget smartphone, the HMD Vibe 2 5G could be worth waiting for. Separately, reports suggest that HMD may also launch a 4G variant of the device, powered by the Unisoc T7200 chipset. The handset is expected to arrive at a more aggressive price point and could offer better value for casual users compared to the Infinix Smart 10.
