“Our take on Infinix’s latest handset – the Infinix S5”

Smartphone OEMs are constantly innovating and bringing new features to their devices in order to stand out from the competition. On that note, Hong Kong based Infinix has launched a brand-new device in India in the sub-Rs 10K segment. Dubbed the Infinix S5, the device is among the handful of smartphones in its price bracket to offer a hole-punch display, among other things. To know if the smartphone is worthy of your bucks, read on.

Verdict

The Infinix S5 retails for Rs 8,999 in India and for the price, offers a good-looking design, a large, immersive display, and multiple cameras.

Unfortunately, the smartphone’s good specs don’t translate well into day-to-day usage and between its sub-par performance, relatively lower-resolution display and janky UI, prospective buyers would be better off with a Realme or a Redmi smartphone in their pockets.
