iPhone 17e launched in India with A19 chipset, MagSafe support, and 48MP camera: price, specifications

Apple has expanded its flagship lineup with the launch of the iPhone 17e, positioning it as the most affordable entry into the iPhone 17 family. The new model brings several upgrades over its predecessor, the iPhone 16e, including the latest A19 chipset, a 48MP Fusion camera, improved durability, MagSafe support, and double the starting storage at 256GB.

The iPhone 17e will be available for pre-order starting March 4th at 7:45 PM, with sales beginning March 11th. Pricing starts at Rs 64,900 and the iPhone will be available in Soft Pink, White, and Black colour options.

A19 chip and C1X modem

At the core of the iPhone 17e is Apple’s new A19 chip (the 16e packed the A18 chip), built on a 3nm process. The 6-core CPU is claimed to be up to 2x faster than the iPhone 11, while the 4-core GPU supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing for improved gaming visuals. Apple has also included a 16-core Neural Engine designed to handle Apple Intelligence features more efficiently.
