Shortly after iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya posted a mysterious Z11 teaser on X sparking speculations that the Z11 is coming to India, the brand has confirmed launch plans for another device. The company has confirmed the iQOO Z11 Lite will launch in India soon and will be sold on Amazon, and it will be specifically tailored for the country’s young audience or Gen Z. While iQOO hasn’t revealed any official specifications yet, previous leaks have offered a glimpse of what buyers can expect.

The company has revealed the design of the phone. Based on the teaser, the iQOO Z11 Lite appears to borrow much of the iQOO Z11x‘s overall design while introducing a few subtle changes. Both phones feature a flat frame, a vertically stacked dual-camera setup, and a circular LED ring below the cameras, giving them a familiar look. The camera island on the Z11 Lite looks more streamlined, with the two camera rings sitting directly on the rear panel instead of inside a large rounded-square module seen on the Z11x.
Tipster Sanju Choudhary recently reported that the iQOO Z11 Lite will launch in India in mid-July. According to him, the iQOO Z11 Lite will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with a 6,500mAh battery and 44W fast charging support. The phone is also tipped to ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and include AI-powered features for content creation and captioning.
Interestingly, the Dimensity 6300 is the same chipset used in the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G, which debuted in India in 2025. Instead of focusing on a processor upgrade, iQOO appears to be improving other aspects of the phone. The battery is tipped to grow from 6,000mAh on the previous model to 6,500mAh, while charging speeds could nearly triple from 15W to 44W.
This approach reflects a broader trend in the affordable smartphone segment, where brands are increasingly prioritising larger batteries, faster charging and AI-powered software features over year-on-year chipset upgrades. For many buyers, these improvements can have a bigger impact on everyday use than modest gains in performance, while optimising the price tag.
The iQOO Z11 Lite is tipped to launch in mid-July 2026. Although the Z10 Lite started at Rs 9,999, the new model is unlikely to retain that price, keeping in mind the rising component costs across the industry. The phone is expected to be positioned below the iQOO Z11x, which currently starts at Rs 22,999, making a sub-Rs 20,000 price tag a realistic possibility. The Z11x is powered by the Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset, which is a tier above the Dimensity 6300.
If priced competitively, the iQOO Z11 Lite will take on offerings from POCO, Lava, Itel and Samsung in a segment that has seen fewer launches as smartphone prices have steadily moved upward. Buyers looking for a phone with long battery life, faster charging and dependable day-to-day performance may want to wait for the official announcement before making a purchase, if gaming performance is not their top priority.
