One week after its launch, Motorola’s latest midrange smartphone, the Moto G67 Power 5G, is now officially on sale in India. The new G-series phone comes at a price tag of Rs 15,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, with a focus on power and endurance. The phone is available in three Pantone-certified colours: Parachute Purple, Blue Curacao, and Cilantro.

With a limited-time bank discount of Rs 1,000 on select cards, buyers can get the device at an effective price of Rs 14,999. Besides, buyers using Jio will be able to avail benefits worth Rs 10,000 with cashback and partner coupons, thereby making the deal further attractive.

The highlight of the Moto G67 Power is the huge 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest in its segment. It supports 30W wired charging, which isn’t particularly the fastest by today’s standards but is still respectable given the size of the battery. Motorola claims the battery lasts two days on moderate usage and the setup is optimised for longevity and lower heat generation.

The phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It’s also rugged with MIL-810H military-grade certification and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The Moto G67 Power is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4nm process, paired with 8GB RAM. It supports Google’s Gemini AI features, signalling the company’s efforts to bring AI to more affordable devices. On the software side, it runs Android 15 with Motorola’s Hello UI that offers a near-stock Android feel and smooth performance.

For photography, the Moto G67 Power applies a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a flicker sensor for stable video capture. The 32MP front camera caters to selfies and video calls. The combination should deliver consistent results for everyday use.

In this price bracket, the Moto G67 Power competes directly with devices like the Redmi 15, Realme Narzo 80 series, Realme P3 and Samsung Galaxy M15 5G. While Redmi offers marginally faster charging along with reverse charging with a similar battery capacity, Motorola enjoys advantages in terms of build durability and cleaner software.

For buyers in search of a phone that will last long, run clean software, and be good enough for moderate gaming, the Moto G67 Power 5G feels like a well-rounded pick. It’s not built to chase specs but to deliver practical performance and endurance with reliability, qualities that should be appealing to users seeking an everyday 5G phone under Rs 16,000.
