Moto G67 Power with 7,000mAh battery goes on sale in India: price, competition, should you buy?

Highlights

One week after its launch, Motorola’s latest midrange smartphone, the Moto G67 Power 5G, is now officially on sale in India. The new G-series phone comes at a price tag of Rs 15,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, with a focus on power and endurance. The phone is available in three Pantone-certified colours: Parachute Purple, Blue Curacao, and Cilantro.

With a limited-time bank discount of Rs 1,000 on select cards, buyers can get the device at an effective price of Rs 14,999. Besides, buyers using Jio will be able to avail benefits worth Rs 10,000 with cashback and partner coupons, thereby making the deal further attractive.

The highlight of the Moto G67 Power is the huge 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest in its segment. It supports 30W wired charging, which isn’t particularly the fastest by today’s standards but is still respectable given the size of the battery. Motorola claims the battery lasts two days on moderate usage and the setup is optimised for longevity and lower heat generation.
