Moto G67 Power to launch in India on November 5th with a 7,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC
Motorola has announced the launch of a new G-series smartphone in India. The Moto G67 Power, as the name suggests, is a battery-focused smartphone. It packs a 7,000mAh battery, which is one of the largest available in the industry. Motorola has revealed most of the specifications of the G67 Power ahead of its launch in India on November 5th. Also, going by the naming scheme, the Moto G67 Power is expected to be priced lower than the Moto G86 Power, which costs Rs 17,999.
Motorola claims the G67 Power’s 7,000mAh battery can last for up to 58 hours, which is over 2 days. It hasn’t been detailed under what conditions the phone can be used to last this long, but its real-world performance could be different. Most of the 7,000mAh battery phones we’ve reviewed easily last through an entire day with a little more left for the next morning. A similar experience can be expected from the Moto G67 Power, although we would reserve final opinions for our detailed review.

The Moto G67 Power is also teased to feature a slim design despite the battery size, thanks to silicon-carbon technology. The smartphone is also said to come with improved battery health, details of which haven’t been revealed yet. Under the hood, the G67 Power will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, a rather old chipset, as it’s already been succeeded by two generations. It’s also the same chipset powering the Moto G96, whose performance we found slightly underwhelming, especially when pushed harder. This gives us an idea of what to expect from the Moto G67 Power’s performance, but there are more factors to consider, like its price and how optimised the phone is to handle tasks.
The upcoming Moto phone is also confirmed to feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 4K recording support. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera, which also supports 4K recording. Motorola is also adding an AI photo enhancement engine to enhance your photos. The camera setup seems quite decent for its expected price range.
Up front, there’s a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The display specs are on par with most budget phones. The smartphone also comes with an IP64 rating and MIL-810H military grade protection. In terms of durability, you might find better options, as even budget phones now offer up to IP69 dust and water resistance.
More details include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, and a vegan leather design for the Moto G67 Power. It will be available in three Pantone colours and with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage that is further expandable up to 24GB with RAM boost. The smartphone runs Hello UX with Android 15 out of the box, and it’s confirmed to get Android 16. While it’s not revealed if the Moto G67 Power will get only one OS upgrade, this could be the case, as the Moto G86 Power will also get only Android 16. This doesn’t guarantee long-term usage as the phone won’t get the latest software features.
The Moto G67 Power’s India launch is scheduled to take place next week, so we should know the complete details and its pricing soon. So far, the Moto G67 Power is shaping up to be a budget phone with reliable battery life, a vibrant display, and promising cameras. However, it could face challenges with performance and software support against similarly priced phones. Also, even if its 7,000mAh battery is the highlight, there are budget phones like the Redmi 15 and POCO M7 Plus that also offer the same and are priced under Rs 15,000.
Since the price is yet to be revealed, we can’t immediately say if you should wait for the Moto G67 Power, but if battery life is a priority, then you could keep an eye out for this one. However, for performance and software support, there might be better alternatives to consider.
