While several of its TWS have launched under the ‘Ear’ branding, a report has revealed that the company is working on yet another TWS called Nothing Buds Pro 2. Along with the name, the report also details the product’s model number, battery, and design of the charging case. More details below.

Nothing Buds Pro 2 spotted on FCC listing
Per XpertPick’s findings, the Nothing Buds Pro 2 will carry the model number B195, as revealed by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database. Subsequently, it could come with FCC ID 2AZEQ-B195C. The label artwork includes the Nothing Buds Pro 2 name.
Upon further digging into the FCC documents, the source has found that the charging case is expected to house a 3.8V lithium-ion battery rated at 460mAh, delivering a total energy capacity of 1.748Wh. With input rated at 5V/0.6A and output at 5V/0.24A, it appears capable of wired charging of up to roughly 3W.
A design outline of the Nothing Buds Pro 2 has also been found in the documents, revealing that the charging case will sport a rounded rectangular shape, with dimensions listed as 26.45 x 16.92 mm. The design of the actual earbuds hasn’t been revealed or hinted at.

Is Nothing possibly coming up with a new TWS lineup?
As noted earlier, Nothing’s TWS have always been released under the ‘Ear’ branding, with the Ear (Open) being the brand’s latest offering in India. The Buds Pro 2, on the other hand, could kick-start a new lineup to offer essential TWS features at competitive pricing, while the Ear lineup could be retained for launching high-end to premium audio products.
While CMF has been a prominent player under Rs 5,000 in the audio segment, Nothing may now want to carve out its own identity at higher or similar price points.
