Nothing Phone (4a) pink colour variant officially teased

Nothing Phone (4a) is coming in pink! Yes, you read that right. The London-based brand is getting experimental with its upcoming Phone (4a) series by introducing a pink variant. This colour choice is refreshing as we’re used to seeing the usual black and white shades for Nothing phones, and the occasional blue shades. It looks like Nothing is going all out with the (4a) lineup and rightly so, as it’s supposed to offer a flagship-like experience since there’s no Nothing Phone (4) coming out this year.

So, how does a Nothing phone look in pink? The shade is a light pink with a sort of monochrome look on some parts of the back panel. Even though the colour is very different from Nothing’s playbook, the phone still maintains Nothing’s core design structure. So while it may appear girly or feminine, the Phone (4a) in pink still manages to give off that edgy Nothing vibe.

Nothing is still playing with the Phone (4a)’s design, going for a horizontal, pill-shaped camera bar housing two lenses. The more interesting bit is the new Glyph Bar on the right side featuring nine controllable mini LEDs, with a small red accent at the bottom. As we’ve seen in previous Nothing phones, the Glyph Bar on the Phone (4a) is also expected to light up for different actions like notifications, calls, app alerts, and more.

Nothing is expected to launch the Phone (4a) in blue and black as well, based on its teaser images on Flipkart. Seeing how Nothing has been sharing major teasers for the Phone (4a), it might not be long till we see the entire colour palette.

So far, Nothing has only revealed that the Phone (4a) will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. This could be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a clear upgrade over the Phone (3a)’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, suggesting performance improvements. It could house a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, and a 50MP+50MP+8MP triple camera setup. Battery capacity could see a marginal upgrade from 5,000mAh to 5,400mAh on the Phone (4a).

With the Phone (4a), Nothing seems to be focusing on a well-rounded approach rather than going hard on specs. Its design stands out, the software experience is clean and interactive, and the phone would be good enough as a daily driver. If these things satisfy your requirements, then it would make sense to wait for the Nothing Phone (4a), but if you’re looking for higher numbers, then checking out alternatives would be better.
