Nothing could be preparing to expand its product lineup with two pairs of smart glasses, according to WinFuture’s Roland Quandt. One model is tipped to feature a camera and AI tools, while the other will reportedly focus on calls and audio playback. This comes at a time when Nothing is expanding its portfolio beyond smartphones and earbuds. The company has been adding products across different categories, with smart glasses potentially being its next move. However, details remain scarce, including what the glasses will look like and how much they will cost.
According to Quandt, one pair of glasses will feature a built-in camera and AI capabilities such as translation, similar to the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. It’s also tipped to support ChatGPT rather than Google’s Gemini, continuing Nothing’s existing integration of OpenAI’s chatbot across its products. The second pair is said to focus on audio. It could let users take calls and interact with their phone’s voice assistant, without a camera or direct AI integration. Both models are reportedly getting photochromic lenses, which darken in sunlight and become clearer indoors.
Nothing is known for its transparent-inspired designs and distinctive-looking products, so it will be interesting to see whether the company brings some of that character to its glasses. For now, though, there’s no confirmed information about their design beyond the reported features. We presume they will be called something straightforward too – on the lines of Nothing Glasses (1) and (1a) or something similar.
Smart glasses would add to a product lineup that already includes smartphones, earbuds and over-ear headphones. The company launched its first over-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphone (1), in 2025 and is also reportedly working on its first smartwatch under the main Nothing brand.
In July, tipster Yogesh Brar claimed that the smartwatch would feature Nothing’s transparent-inspired design language and cost under USD 300 (around Rs 29,000). A September launch was reportedly being considered at the time, although Nothing hasn’t officially confirmed the watch or its specifications.
In an interview with Times Now, Nothing co-founder and India head Akis Evangelidis said the company plans to launch around twice as many smartphones in 2027 as it did in 2026. Nothing has launched three smartphones this year, the Phone (4a), Phone (4a Pro) and Phone (4b), and intends to offer a wider range next year. Akis also said Nothing has established dedicated business units for audio and AI-native products to speed up development.
The reported glasses and smartwatch fit into this wider expansion, with Nothing looking to build a product ecosystem that extends beyond phones. Nothing hasn’t announced the glasses, their pricing or launch markets. Earlier reports pointed to a possible 2027 release. The two models could cater to different needs. The audio-focused pair may appeal to people who want hands-free calls without a camera, while the AI-equipped version would compete more directly with Ray-Ban Meta.
