As we’ve come to expect from Samsung’s mobile division, its Galaxy A-series of “awesome” mid-range handsets has been steadily revealed throughout the year so far, with the company most recently unveiling the Galaxy A23 as well as the 4G version of the A13. The most anticipated devices of the lineup, however — those closer to the top of the range — have yet to see daylight officially, but now we’ve been passed a render said to be the official Galaxy A73 press shot.
On the back, the Galaxy A73 appears to adopt Samsung’s current minimalist design language, with a matte finish and a smooth camera island that blends into the rear panel. The triple-camera setup is vertically stacked, with subtle lens rings that add a touch of contrast. The frame is likely to be a matte-finished polycarbonate or metal, continuing Samsung’s tradition of balancing durability with lightweight construction in the A-series.
If these renders are accurate, Samsung seems to be pushing its mid-range design closer to flagship territory with ultra-slim bezels, a high screen-to-body ratio, and a clean, modern rear aesthetic. Combined with the A-series’ reputation for balanced performance and competitive pricing, the Galaxy A73 could become one of Samsung’s strongest mid-range contenders of the year.
