According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 16R will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This would be an upgrade over the 8 Gen 5 powering its predecessor, the OnePlus 15R, meaning improved performance. The OnePlus 16R is also expected to house triple 50MP cameras, with one of them being a telephoto lens. The 15R has a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The tipster adds that the OnePlus 16R will feature a 165Hz display and pack a 7,500mAh+ battery.
