OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro specifications, features
The OPPO Enco Air 5 earbuds feature 12mm dynamic bass drivers for punchy sound. They offer up to 52dB ANC, along with a Transparency mode for better awareness of your surroundings. For calls, six built-in microphones with AI noise reduction help ensure clearer voice quality. Case in point, the recently released OnePlus Nord Buds 4, priced at Rs 3,299, also feature 52dB ANC. This points to the fact that strong ANC capabilities are becoming highly popular in the sub-Rs 4,000 TWS segment.
As for the codecs and connectivity, these support AAC and SBC codecs, while connectivity options include Bluetooth 6.1 and dual-device connectivity across Android, iOS and Windows for seamless switching. Some additional features the earbuds gain include AI Translate and easy access to Google Gemini and Spotify by tapping the touch-based area of the stem.
Coming to one of the key highlights, OPPO claims the Enco Air 5 earbuds can deliver up to 13 hours of music playback, which can be further extended up to 54 hours using the charging case. Once again, this is the same level of battery endurance offered by the Nord Buds 4.
Taking advantage of the 12mm drivers, the TWS feature three Sound Master EQ modes within the HeyMelody app, OPPO’s proprietary app for tinkering and controlling the Enco Air 5. These include Ultimate Sound, Pure Vocals, and Thundering Bass, while the 10-band Pro Equaliser is also present for fine-tuning the sound per user preferences.
Given the retail price of Rs 3,299, the Enco Air 5 could turn out to be a great option for those seeking strong ANC capabilities, long-lasting battery life, and soothing sound on a budget. Since the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 are by default tuned to emphasise the bass, as stated in our review, the Enco Air 5 could bring a fresh breath of air (no pun intended) by delivering a balanced sound signature, as we’ve previously seen with the Enco Air series.
