OPPO has revealed the India launch date for its upcoming OPPO F35 series, following teasers that have been live for a few weeks now. The company is marketing the series’ selfie camera with a focus on wider shots and more natural-looking images, but hasn’t revealed the exact models in the series or their specifications yet.
OPPO F35 series India launch details
The OPPO F35 series will launch in India on October 5th, the company has confirmed. The company has revealed a 50MP ultrawide selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view for the series. It will also feature NaturalTone 2.0, which OPPO says is designed to produce more natural-looking skin tones. The Pro model is teased with 4K video recording from both the front and rear cameras.
The F35 series follows the F33 lineup in India and continues the focus on photography. The series first arrived in India with the OPPO F1 in 2016, built around selfie photography before expanding into areas such as design, video and durability. The wider front camera gives OPPO a specific feature to highlight against other upper mid-range phones.
OPPO F35 Pro expected specifications
While we don’t know if there’ll actually be a ‘Pro’ model in the series, but previous reports suggest there could be an OPPO F35 Pro priced between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000. That would put it well above the F33 and F33 Pro, which launched at Rs 31,999 and Rs 37,999, respectively.
The reported specifications include a 10,000mAh battery, 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. It could also feature a 50MP primary rear camera, a 50MP Samsung JN5 autofocus selfie camera and IP66, IP68 and IP69K ratings. A 10,000mAh battery would be one of the phone’s biggest hardware talking points, but it wouldn’t be unique in this price segment. The POCO X8 Power, Realme P4 Power and Narzo Power are also targeting buyers with large batteries, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has also debuted with a 10,000mAh battery, but at the Rs 50,000 price point.
That makes the F35 Pro’s camera performance, charging speeds and chipset particularly important if OPPO prices it above Rs 40,000. Buyers comparing it with battery-focused and camera-focused rivals should look beyond capacity alone and wait for the October 5th launch to assess the complete package and pricing.
