After releasing the OPPO K14, K14x, and K14 Lite over the last several months, OPPO has added yet another member to this year’s K-series lineup with the release of the K14 Plus 5G. Priced at Rs 29,999, the smartphone carries forward the brand’s philosophy of offering power-packed performance and strong battery endurance at a cost-efficient price. As a result, the K14 Plus features the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX paired with a sizeable vapour chamber, UFS 3.1 storage and a large 8,000mAh battery.

The OPPO K14 Plus comes in three storage options, starting at 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. As for the colour options, the device will be available in Star White and Solar Orange.

OPPO K14 Plus specifications and features
Starting with the star of the show, the OPPO K14 Plus runs on the 4nm-based MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX, paired with a 5,000mm² vapour chamber, UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. This chipset is a slightly more advanced version of the Dimensity 7360, previously used in several Vivo smartphones, including the Vivo S2, V70 FE, and V60e. According to OPPO, the K14 Plus can score over 1 million on AnTuTu.
On the display front, the OPPO K14 Plus sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 3,600nits of peak brightness. It also supports 2,160Hz PWM dimming to reduce flicker and eye strain from long periods of screen use. OPPO has matched competitors like the POCO X8 and Moto Edge 70 Fusion by packing a bright AMOLED panel, letting users enjoy vivid, high-contrast tones.
The battery is yet another highlight of the OPPO K14 Plus. With an 8,000mAh cell, the smartphone is claimed to last over 12 hours of continuous BGMI gameplay at 60 frames per second and over 20 hours of YouTube on a single charge. It also includes a 45W SUPERVOOC charger to quickly top up the device. While the POCO X8 offers a larger 9,000mAh battery, the K14 Plus’ battery should suffice for most heavy-use scenarios.
For cameras, the OPPO K14 Plus gets a 50MP 1/2-inch Smartsense SC532HS primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, and a 2MP monochrome lens on the rear. The display’s circular cutout houses a 16MP front camera for selfies and vlogs. On paper, the primary lens is even better than that of the Realme P4s (50MP 1/2.88-inch), which should hopefully translate to better results in real use.
Backed by multiple productivity and imaging AI features, such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Recompose, AI Eraser, AI Writing and Translation, and more, the K14 Plus runs on ColorOS 16.5 based on Android 17. This makes it the first OPPO smartphone to boot Android 17 out of the box.
On to some noteworthy additions, the smartphone is IP69K rated to withstand heavy jets of water and submersion, while the Armour Body ensures it can absorb shock from drops or bumps on hard surfaces. On the back, an IR Blaster lets you control home appliances such as TVs, ACs, set-top boxes, etc. While the K14 Plus may not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, it comes with stereo speaker output for an immersive sound experience.
Is the OPPO K14 Plus worth considering?
While we haven’t assessed the device in depth yet, the specifications suggest the OPPO K14 Plus could be a solid choice for those seeking a high-battery-endurance smartphone with decent performance and a bright, vibrant display. With ColorOS 16.5 at the forefront, it also packs several AI features and customisation options, potentially making it a well-rounded smartphone not just for power users, but also for those with light, casual use cases.
