OPPO Reno 16t has launched as the latest smartphone to join the company’s popular Reno lineup. It’s the third phone in the lineup after the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro. Like its siblings, the Reno 16t features a stylish design with a 3D flower design embossed on the rear panel. The OPPO Reno 16t starts at CNY 3,699 (approx. Rs 53,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone also comes in a variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, priced at CNY 4,499 (approx. Rs 64,000). The Reno 16t is available in Heartbeat, Galaxy Purple, and Moonlight Black colours. It’s currently on sale in China, with no word on global availability yet.

The OPPO Reno 16t features a 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset, which is expected to handle everyday use and intensive tasks with ease. The smartphone would be competing with premium mid-range rivals from Vivo, OnePlus, and Xiaomi.

The Reno 16t is reportedly aimed at the offline market in China. This makes sense as it shares the same specifications with the Reno 16, which is available online. If you’re looking for a good-looking compact smartphone with strong cameras, a capable chipset, and a battery, the Reno 16t is a good contender. Users of the Reno 14 or older will find significant upgrades in camera and battery, but Reno 15 users might consider waiting for the 17 series.
