Realme is often the first smartphone brand to utilise a new chipset from MediaTek’s stables. And the just-launched Realme 10 Pro+ carries that legacy forward. It’s the first handset in the country to ship with MediaTek Dimensity 1080. But that’s not its only claim to fame. As mentioned in the introduction, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G draws power from the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. The processor is built using the power-efficient 6nm process. The octa-core chipset comprises two high-power ARM Cortex-A78 cores tuned at 2.6GHz, and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz to take care of mundane tasks. The combination ensures that the device is able to offer a perfect balance between power and battery efficiency. Accompanying the chip is up to 8GB RAM, meaning that the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G can easily handle anything thrown at it without breaking a sweat. The device can also get an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. In terms of ROM, the device comes with 128GB or 256GB built-in storage.
Gamers would enjoy the buttery-smooth graphics with the ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. Then there’s MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 gaming technologies. In the imaging department, Realme’s latest ships with a 108MP sensor with f/1.75 aperture and PDAF technology. For gaming, the handset also offers instant touch sampling of 1260Hz.
The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G is also the first OLED smartphone in the industry to receive TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free certification, thanks to 2160Hz PWN dimming technology which automatically gets activated in low light. Speaking of dim environments, the device supports hardware with low blue light that provides an added layer of eye protection.

Not just the curved display, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G will grab your attention in more ways than one. As mentioned above, the device features a near bezel-less design, and that’s because its chin measures just 2.33mm. Realme also highlights that the screen curvature of 61 degrees ensures lesser accidental finger touches and the lowest distortion. With a 0.65mm double-reinforced glass, the device is quite durable as well as it underwent 1.5m drop tests and 28,000 micro drop tests.
Turn to the back, and you are greeted with a Hyperspace design that has a reflective pattern. It’s available in three colour choices of Nebula Blue, Hyperspace Gold, or Dark Matter. The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G also promises a superb in-hand feel, thanks to its thickness of 7.78mm and weight of just 172.5g.

The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G comes packed with a beefy 5,000mAh Li-Po battery. The capacity would ensure that you don’t have to look for a charger in the middle of the day even with heavy usage. What’s more impressive is that you won’t have to spend a lot of time juicing up the handset. With the support for 67W SuperVOOC charging, it’s claimed to go from 0 to 50 percent within just 17 minutes.
With regards to software, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G ships with Android 13-based realme UI 4.0. The smartphone also offers dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio to promise a rich sound output. The device features 5G with support for nine 5G bands, and Realme has partnered with Jio to experience its capabilities when combined with the next-gen network. The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 24,999, whereas the higher-end 8GB + 256GB carries a sticker price of Rs 25,999.
