Realme has officially launched the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition, a new collaborative smartphone inspired by HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones. Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, this device is claimed to feature the world’s first custom smartphone featuring the Dragonfire Color-Changing Design technology, which transforms from black to red in 44 degrees Celsius water.
The smartphone has been launched globally, including India, where it was held at Realme’s flagship store in Ahmedabad, decorated with Game of Thrones-themed elements for fans to experience the phone firsthand. The device also made its global debut at the Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. The latest launch marks Realme’s continuous push to go global by introducing phones in different markets. For example, it introduced the Realme 14 Pro series with a colour-changing technology in Denmark, co-created with a Danish design studio.
The Realme 15 Pro GoT phone sports a Black and Gold back panel, crafted from premium black leather and embossed with decorative patterns inspired by Westeros’ Great Houses. The main highlight is a 3D-engraved Seal of Power of House Targaryen. The camera module also features medieval motifs and is framed with golden dragon claws. The device also offers exclusive “Ice” and “Fire” UI themes and AI features for medieval-style image edits.
The phone comes in a limited edition Map of Westeros box, which includes the Iron Throne phone stand, a blank parchment letter, King’s Hand pin, along with customised postcards and stickers, offering a complete Game of Thrones experience from unboxing.
Specs-wise, the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition is the same as the regular variant. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a 7000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging support. It features a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera with House-themed color filters. Up front is a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 6,500 nits peak brightness and 144Hz refresh rate.
The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition has been launched at Rs 41,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant, which is Rs 38,999 for the regular model. This doesn’t seem like a major price difference, considering the collaboration and special box. However, there will be only 5,000 units of the Realme 15 Pro GoT limited edition globally, so fans should hurry if they want to grab a unit. It’s available to purchase in India through Flipkart, realme.com, and across mainline stores.
This is a collector’s item, and if you’re a big fan of Game of Thrones, then you can definitely go for it. Performance-wise, we don’t expect any notable difference with the regular variant. In our review of the Realme 15 Pro, we found it appealing for party enthusiasts and content creators, as it offers impressive low-light photography and AI photo editing tools. It isn’t the best when it comes to performance, but good enough for regular usage. The battery life is also reliable, but you get limited software support, and portrait photography could do better.
Taking into account its review, the Realme 15 Pro GoT limited edition is recommended for die-hard fans or anyone who’d like to keep this as a collector’s item. However, if you consider its overall performance, then phones like the iQOO Neo 10R or Motorola Edge 60 Pro might be a better buy.
