Realme is all set to refresh its number lineup with the Realme 15 series today, i.e. July 24th. For now, the lineup will consist of the standard Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro, with other variants potentially arriving later, as was the case with the Realme 14 series. Dubbed the “AI Party Phone”, from the official teasers and marketing materials, it appears that the Realme 15 series will have a strong emphasis on design, cameras, and AI features. These smartphones will be unveiled at 7 PM in the form of a launch party, where a couple of celebrity guests are expected to attend.
Although the price will be unveiled tomorrow at the launch event, a post from Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), a reliable smartphone tipster, reveals that the Realme 15 Pro will come with a starting price of Rs 29,999 and can range up to Rs 37,999 for the highest-end variant. On the other hand, the Realme 15 could be priced around Rs 25,000, just like the Realme 14 Pro, which was launched at Rs 24,999. By the way, Realme didn’t release the Realme 14 here in India.

Notably, Francis Wong, the Head of Product Marketing at Realme, has confirmed that there will be no Realme 15 Pro+ this time around. Instead, the Realme 15 Pro succeeds the Realme 14 Pro+, while the Realme 15 is the successor to the Realme 14 Pro. The executive mentions that the reason behind this is to simplify Realme’s product line. This could be a good move, as buyers might find it easier to pick the ideal Realme phone under Rs 30,000, if a phone carries a balanced approach in terms of features.

Realme has officially teased that the Realme 15 Pro has a dual 50MP camera on the back and a 50MP camera at the front. We see a third sensor on the back, but it remains unclear what it will be used for. Realme has upgraded the ultrawide sensor from 8MP to 50MP. This should offer better ultrawide picture quality. However, we will know how well this translates in the real world after we review the device.
This also suggests that the telephoto periscope camera has been ditched this time around. The predecessor, the Realme 14 Pro+, featured a 50MP LYT600 periscope with 3x optical zoom, ideal for capturing long-range shots and producing crisp portraits with a natural bokeh effect. Both the Realme 15 and 15 Pro feature a ringed RGB-based ‘Pulse Light‘, which can glow in response to specific actions, such as receiving calls or notifications and playing games.

Moving on to the processor, the Realme 15 Pro will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the Realme 15 will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+. This is the first time this particular Snapdragon processor will be featured on a phone in India. It is built on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication process and features a high clock speed of 2.8GHz, accompanied by the Adreno 722 GPU.
Similarly, the Dimensity 7300+ on the Realme 15 is a first on a phone in India. However, it’s safe to assume its CPU and GPU will be similar to the standard Dimensity 7300 but with minor improvements. Per Realme, the Realme 15 scores 7,40,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark.

As for the battery, both the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro feature a large 7,000mAh cell and 80W fast charging. Realme could be using a silicon-carbon battery, which is perhaps how the phone’s thickness is under 8mm. Similarly, both phones will come with a 144Hz 4D Curve+ display, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and an IP69 rating. On paper, the display specs look impressive, targeting both gamers who want to play games like BGMI at high frame rates, while the curved glass adds to the overall premiumness of the device.
Realme’s microsite also mentions the presence of “AI Edit Genie“, which will enable instant image editing using voice commands. This could be a nifty feature for young audiences and creators to alter an image to their liking on the go, quickly.
The Realme 15 series seems tailor-made for buyers who prioritise bold design, long battery life, and camera features, particularly selfies and ultrawide shots. The inclusion of features like a 7,000mAh battery in a sub-8mm body, 50MP dual rear cameras, and AI-led tools like Edit Genie signals Realme’s intent to woo creators and Gen-Z users. That said, pricing will be key. If Realme can keep the base Realme 15 under Rs 25,000 and the 15 Pro within Rs 30,000, these phones could easily be among the most well-rounded options in the segment. We’ll know for sure once the launch event reveals the final specs and official pricing.
