Redmi 15 5G was launched in India today, debuting with a massive 7,000mAh battery, a first for the brand. The launch also introduces Redmi’s refreshed branding, complete with a new logo and visual identity. Priced under Rs 15,000, the Redmi 15 becomes the second smartphone in this segment to feature a 7,000mAh battery, following the POCO M7 Plus. It also sports a 6.9-inch display, making it an ideal choice for entertainment. With these standout features, the Redmi 15 5G gains a clear edge over rivals in its segment.

The Redmi 15’s 7,000mAh battery is designed for longevity, with Redmi claiming it will retain up to 80 percent health even after four years of use. Powered by silicon-carbon battery technology, it offers a slimmer design, faster charging, and a longer lifespan compared to conventional batteries. The phone also supports 18W reverse charging, letting you power other devices on the go. With this massive capacity, the battery should easily last well over a day on regular usage.
