Priced under Rs 15,000, the Redmi 15 becomes the second smartphone in this segment to feature a 7,000mAh battery, following the POCO M7 Plus. It also sports a 6.9-inch display, making it an ideal choice for entertainment. With these standout features, the Redmi 15 5G gains a clear edge over rivals in its segment.
The Redmi 15’s 7,000mAh battery is designed for longevity, with Redmi claiming it will retain up to 80 percent health even after four years of use. Powered by silicon-carbon battery technology, it offers a slimmer design, faster charging, and a longer lifespan compared to conventional batteries. The phone also supports 18W reverse charging, letting you power other devices on the go. With this massive capacity, the battery should easily last well over a day on regular usage. For comparison, its predecessor, the Redmi 13, packed a 5,030mAh battery, which comfortably delivered a full day’s use.

Redmi 15 is also claimed to be the slimmest phone with a 7,000mAh battery in this segment. The handset features a ‘Royal Chrome Design’ with an aerospace-grade metal island. It comes in three colours: Midnight Black, Frosted White, and Sandy Purple. The smartphone has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. If you want more durability, then you can consider phones like the Realme P3x and Realme 14x, offering up to IP69, the highest rating available. Redmi 15 also comes with the good old IR blaster for a virtual remote and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
