Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra base variant’s price drops by Rs 10,000, but the top model gets a hike

Highlights

Samsung has revised the pricing for its outgoing flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, in India, bringing welcome relief to some variants but a surprise hike to others. The changes come at a time when the newly launched Galaxy S26 Ultra is just a few weeks into sales, presenting buyers with a confusing choice in the premium segment.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra price drop details

The base Galaxy S25 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage now starts at Rs 1,19,999, a straightforward Rs 10,000 cut from its original Rs 1,29,999 price. That adjustment makes the phone feel more attainable for those who have been holding out. The 512GB version sees a modest tweak to Rs 1,39,999, down by Rs 2,000 from Rs 1,41,999. However, the 1TB model has actually increased to around Rs 1,69,999 from Rs 1,65,999, which is a notable Rs 4,000 hike, especially for an older model. This could reflect updated component costs rather than a sales push. Tipster Sanju Choudhary tips that offline retailers might offer it below Rs 95,000 but probably with exchanges and bonuses.
