Samsung Galaxy S26 series gets bigger discounts in India, S26 Ultra now at Rs 1,24,999
With smartphone prices under pressure from rising memory costs, Samsung is bringing a breath of fresh air route with its latest flagship lineup. The Galaxy S26 series is getting deeper discounts in India, bringing the effective prices of all three models below their launch prices. The offers come at a time when several smartphone makers have raised prices or reduced the value offered by their latest devices.

The Galaxy S26 is currently available (via) at Rs 79,999 on Amazon, down from its Rs 87,999 launch price for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also listed at Rs 1,24,999 on Amazon for the 12GB + 256GB model, compared with its original Rs 1,39,999 price.

The ongoing Amazon Great Freedom Sale has also made the previous-generation Galaxy S25 Ultra available at Rs 94,999, making it a cheaper alternative to the S26 Ultra. The older flagship still offers a premium display, flagship performance and S Pen support, while the S26 Ultra makes more sense for buyers who specifically want Samsung’s latest hardware.
Samsung’s own website is offering another set of discounts. The Galaxy S26 Ultra gets Rs 15,000 off, bringing it to Rs 1,24,999, while the Galaxy S26+ gets a much larger Rs 30,500 discount, taking it from Rs 1,19,999 to Rs 89,500. The Galaxy S26 gets Rs 8,000 off, reducing its price to Rs 79,999.
Samsung is also advertising an additional Rs 4,000 discount on a first purchase through its website and Rs 3,000 through its referral programme. No-cost EMI options are available on eligible purchases.
Offline deals
The online prices are not necessarily the lowest available. Some buyers have reported getting the Galaxy S26 for around Rs 72,000 through offline retailers, along with six months of no-cost EMI. That makes checking local Samsung stores and authorised retailers worthwhile before buying.
OnePlus, Vivo and iQOO have traditionally competed by undercutting Samsung on hardware, but Samsung’s post-launch price cuts reduce that gap. The S26 at around Rs. 80,000 is now particularly interesting for buyers who want a compact flagship without paying Ultra-level prices.
For most buyers, the Galaxy S26+ at Rs. 89,500 is arguably the strongest value proposition of the three if the larger display and battery justify the extra cost. The S26 Ultra remains the pick for camera, S Pen and flagship features, while the standard S26 makes more sense for those prioritising size and price. With offline deals potentially going lower, comparing the final price across channels could save several thousand rupees.
