[Exclusive] Vivo T5 Lite 44W with 6,500mAh battery set to launch in India soon
The Vivo T4 Lite 5G is getting a successor. The phone came out last year in June, priced under Rs 10,000. The 2025 model featured a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, a 50MP main camera, a 6,000mAh battery and 15W charging, among other things. Now, 91mobiles has learned that the company is working on a Vivo T5 Lite 44W model. As the name suggests, this upcoming phone will support faster 44W fast charging speeds and a bigger battery to boot.

91mobiles has learned from industry sources that the upcoming Vivo T5 Lite 44W will feature a 6,500mAh battery, 500mAh larger than the one inside the T4 Lite. This larger battery will also juice up faster with 44W charging support. Last year’s model would take close to two hours to fully charge on a 15W adapter.

While we don’t know how quickly the upcoming Vivo T5 Lite 44W will charge, it’s safe to assume it will be quicker than its predecessor. For perspective, the iQOO Z10x, which packs a similar 6,500mAh battery and 44W charging support as the upcoming Vivo phone, takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully charge. Expect a similar charging time for the Vivo T5 Lite 44W.

While the 2025 Vivo T4 Lite 5G has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, the upcoming T5 Lite 44W has a slightly better IP65 rating for enhanced durability. It will also come with SGS Five-Star Overall Unit Drop Resistance Certification and Military-Grade certification. This shows that durability is another area that has been improved upon.
Our sources have also told us that the Vivo T5 Lite 44W will come in two colour options: Wave Blue and Twilight Shadow. We will have to wait a little longer to get a first look at these new colour variants, but expect them to be different from the Titanium Gold and Prism Blue colours of the previous T4 Lite.
There’s no word yet on the Vivo T5 Lite 44W’s launch date in India, but now that the phone has made its way into the rumour mill, expect an official teaser soon. Given the current price hikes across smartphones, don’t expect the Vivo T5 Lite 44W to be a sub-Rs 10,000 phone. Given that the upcoming phone has a few similarities with the iQOO Z10x, expect a sub-Rs 15,000 price tag.
