The Vivo V70 FE is set to become the third addition to the brand’s V70-series lineup. The handset will be slotted below the already launched Vivo V70 (review) and Vivo V70 Elite (review). Notably, this marks the first time Vivo is introducing an “FE” variant within the V-series. Official teasers and leaked images have confirmed a distinct design language for the smartphone, setting it apart from its siblings. The Vivo V70 FE specifications confirm a 200MP camera without the ZEISS branding.

The Vivo V70 FE is set to launch in India on April 2nd at 12:00 pm. This comes a couple of months after the company unveiled the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. The Vivo V70 FE will be the third model in the lineup and the first to come as a “Fan Edition”.
You can catch the live action of the Vivo V70 FE launch event in India via the company’s official social media channels or the YouTube video attached below.
The Vivo V70 FE is likely to be available in India at a much more accessible price point than its elder sibling. To recall, the Vivo V70 was priced in India starting at Rs 45,999, while the Vivo V70 Elite costs Rs 52,999 for the base variant. The Vivo V70 FE could be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000 to compete against the Reno 15C, Redmi Note 15 Pro+, Realme 16 Pro+, and more.
Vivo has teased the design of the V70 FE, confirming an oblong camera module, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, instead of a squarish one. The module has been highlighted with two individual camera rings and a ring light. It can be seen that the camera module protrudes from the smartphone, and there is ‘200MP’ text etched.
Furthermore, the official renders confirm the Vivo V70 FE with flat edges and volume rocker and power button on the right spine. The top portion features a speaker grille, seemingly confirming a dual camera setup on the smartphone.
The Vivo V70 FE will be available in a couple of colour options: Northern Light Purple and Monsoon Blue. Interestingly, the Northern Light Purple is expected to feature streak-like glowing patterns in the dark after exposure to light for a more standout appearance.
Since the Vivo V70 FE has already been launched in Indonesia, we have a fair idea of what to expect. The Vivo V70 FE runs Origin OS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box. Furthermore, the device is powered by a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This is the same chipset that powers the Vivo V60e, so expect a similar performance from this upcoming V-series offering.
That said, the smartphone features a massive 7,000mAh battery, which should give it higher endurance than the V60e’s 6,500mAh. It will be backed by 90W fast charging for quick top-ups. The Vivo V70 FE also features an upgrade in cameras with a 200MP OIS primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front camera is a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calling.
Unfortunately, there is no telephoto lens like the standard Vivo V70 and V70 Elite. Be that as it may, Vivo has stressed Pro-level portraits for the smartphone. We will be testing it, along with other parameters, in our full review, so stay tuned for that.
The Vivo V70 FE sports a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, bigger than its elder siblings. Other features include IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, dual-SIM support and an IR blaster. The handset is promised to receive up to six years of security updates.

From its specifications alone, the Vivo V70 FE clearly carries forward the V-series philosophy, positioning itself as a camera-focused smartphone. The 200MP is definitely its headline feature, but it should also appeal to multimedia enthusiasts with its big display and a massive 7,000mAh battery. There is no other smartphone that brings a similar setup in the expected price segment, making the Vivo V70 FE worth waiting for.
