Vivo’s X200T looks like it’s coming to India pretty soon, with leaks piling up to give us the full picture. It’s already been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG and India’s BIS certification sites, which is a strong hint that the launch isn’t far off. Industry reports are pointing to an end-of-month debut.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav on X has now dropped the Vivo X200T spec sheet. According to him, the X200T will pack a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which is pretty typical for phones at this level. It’s sufficient for daily tasks, gaming, and streaming videos.
One of the stronger points is the software promise. The phone is expected to ship with Android 16 right out of the box, plus five major Android OS updates and seven years of security patches. If Vivo sticks to that, it’d match up to Samsung and Google, who have set the standard for long-haul Android support. However, brands like OnePlus have also started giving software support for at least four, if not five, years for their upper mid-range and flagship phones.
Performance-wise, the tipster says the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset will be teamed up with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage on top configs. That is flagship power, particularly with the 6,200mAh battery thrown in. Charging is 90W wired and 40W wireless, if the leak is to be believed.
For cameras, there could be a triple 50MP rear array with a Sony LYT-702 main sensor that has OIS, a Samsung JN1 ultra-wide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Up front, there’s a 32MP selfie cam. Vivo’s Zeiss partnership is intact, so cameras will be a focus, but actual photos in real life will count more than the numbers.
There’s also Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, vapour chamber cooling, and eSIM support. Colours are black and purple.
Earlier rumours put the price between Rs 50,000 and Rs 55,000, and it will possibly be an online-exclusive launch. The price lines it up against the likes of the OnePlus 15R and the OPPO Reno 15 series.
The ‘T’ branding is new for Vivo’s X series and seems to indicate a phone designed to sit between existing models rather than replace any one device outright. If these leaks prove accurate and Vivo prices it well, the X200T could appeal to buyers who want strong cameras, fast charging, and long-term software support without paying full Ultra-level flagship prices.
