Vivo X300 Ultra, X300s launch date leaked; colour options also tipped
Vivo’s next set of flagships is just around the corner, and if the latest leak is accurate, the X300 Ultra and X300s could launch in China at the end of this month. As per a screenshot circulating on Chinese social media site Weibo, the phones could launch in the country on March 30th, with sales starting April 3rd. A new tablet, the Vivo Pad 6 Pro, is also expected to tag along. The company hasn’t confirmed any of this yet, but the details line up with the teasers and leaks we’ve been seeing.
The phones’ storage ad colour options have also been tipped. Both the X300 Ultra and X300s are tipped to start at 12GB RAM and go all the way up to 16GB + 1TB. The Ultra is expected in more muted shades like black, silver, and green, while the X300s adds a bit more colour with purple and white options.

The phones join the flagship Vivo X300 and X300 Pro that launched late last year. While expanding the flagship lineup, the company seems to be assigning very different personalities to the new phones. The X300 Ultra is the ultimate flagship, as its name suggests. Cameras are the headline feature as is expected by Vivo’s Zeiss-backed lineup, with a rumoured 200MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope lens, and additional sensors aimed at improving overall image quality. If true, that could make the Vivo X300 Ultra the first commercial phone with dual 200MP lenses. On paper, that puts it right in the same conversation and maybe technically even ahead of the best camera phones from Samsung and Apple. Backing that up would be a likely Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a large 7,000mAh battery, and fast charging on both wired and wireless fronts. It looks like a device that’s trying to tick every possible box.
The X300s takes a slightly different route. Vivo has already confirmed a 7,100mAh battery, which is a noticeable jump for the X-series, and pairs it with a 144Hz display. That combination hints that the phone is aiming for long sessions of gaming, streaming, and general use without constantly worrying about charging. The X200s is also expected to run on the Dimensity 9500 chip and still keep a strong camera setup, likely with a 200MP sensor and periscope zoom. Vivo’s strategy seems to be of offering two kinds of flagships instead of one. One goes all-in on camera and peak hardware, the other tries to be the one you actually live with every day.
If you care about getting the absolute best camera hardware and top-tier specs, the X300 Ultra is the obvious one to watch. What makes it notable is that it’s tipped to launch in India too. If your priorities are more about battery life, smoother visuals, and a phone that keeps up with long, heavy use, the X300s might end up being the more practical pick.
