A new leak now reveals the pricing, storage variant and colour options of the Xiaomi 17T, giving us an idea of how much the handset could cost in India.

Xiaomi 17T specifications: what to expect

Leaks around the Xiaomi 17T have been going on for a while now. So, here’s what to expect from the smartphone:

  • 6.59-inch 1.5K flat display
  • MediaTek 8500 SoC
  • 6,500mAh battery, 67W fast charging support
  • 50MP primary camera + 12MP ultra-wide + 50MP telephoto (Leica)
  • 32MP front camera
  • All black, Deep violet, Deep blue colour options

The Xiaomi 17T had just appeared on Geekbench, confirming the Dimensity 9500 as its chipset. This suggests solid mid-range performance for the Xiaomi 17T. Another selling point for the phone would be Leica-tuned photography with a dedicated telephoto lens. If the Xiaomi 17T does launch in India, the brand would have a rival to phones from OPPO and Vivo in the sub-flagship domain. Pricing remains key here as it would need to be competitive to offer an edge over existing rivals.

With an India launch expected in May, the Xiaomi 17T may be worth waiting for if you’re on the lookout for a camera-focused, strong mid-ranger. It might not be an immediate recommendation since details aren’t official yet, so it’s best to wait for confirmation.
