Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 17T Pro design, colour options revealed in new leak

Fresh leaks suggest that Xiaomi is close to unveiling its next T-series lineup, with the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro expected to debut later this month. While the company hasn’t confirmed a launch date yet, the Xiaomi 17T is also rumoured to make its way to India, potentially strengthening Xiaomi’s position in the premium mid-range segment.

The latest development comes from German publication WinFuture, which has shared official-looking renders of both devices. The two phones are nearly identical, sticking to a flat-display design language. The key differences lie in size and materials, with the standard 17T tipped to feature a plastic build, while the Pro variant may get a more premium metal frame.

Colour options would be different too, with the Xiaomi 17T seen in black, light pinkish purple, and light blue, while the Pro features darker tones of the same shades.

Overall, the Xiaomi 17T series looks similar to their predecessor, the Xiaomi 15T series, but appears to be more compact and refreshed in terms of colours.

The Xiaomi 17T is expected to sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the larger 6.83-inch AMOLED screen on the Pro model could push that to 144Hz. Performance-wise, both devices seem well-equipped: the 17T is rumoured to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, while the Pro may step up to the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500, suggesting a noticeable edge for gaming and heavy multitasking.

Camera hardware appears consistent across both models, with triple 50MP sensors covering primary, telephoto, and ultra-wide duties, alongside a 32MP front camera. Battery life could be a major highlight too, with leaks pointing to a 6,500mAh cell on the 17T and an even larger unit on the Pro, paired with faster 100W charging (vs 67W on the standard model).

Pricing positions the series firmly in flagship territory, at least in Europe, starting around €749 (Rs 83,500 approx) and going up to €999 (Rs 1,11,400 approx) for the Pro.

The 17T should offer a strong balance of performance and battery at a relatively lower price, while the Pro leans into premium materials, faster charging, and a smoother display. If Xiaomi prices these aggressively in India, the Xiaomi 17T series could emerge as a compelling alternative to rivals from brands like OnePlus, OPPO, and Vivo in the upper mid-range space.
