The Xiaomi 18 Pro features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,000-nit peak brightness, and a 2.7-inch rear display. Its triple camera setup comprises dual 200MP primary and periscope telephoto sensors, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The Chinese variant packs a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It’s an upgrade over the Xiaomi 17 Pro’s 6,300mAh battery.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, meanwhile, gets a larger 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 2.9-inch rear screen. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and shares the Pro model’s camera setup. However, it packs a larger 8,500mAh battery while retaining 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Its predecessor, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max uses an 8,500mAh battery.
Both phones run Android 17-based HyperOS 4.
Xiaomi’s flagship phones are aimed at users who want the ultimate Android phone experience with a powerful chipset, versatile cameras, and a large battery. Adding to that is the appeal of the rear display, which gives users a fun and interactive element. If you have an Android flagship in mind, the Xiaomi 18 Pro series is definitely worth waiting for. Since there are more flagships launching too, we would suggest comparing them as well.
