Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6: features and specs

The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 is Xiaomi’s more powerful option in the new lineup, designed for larger spaces of up to 940 sq ft. The purifier offers a Particle CADR of 443m3/h and a Formaldehyde CADR of 218m3/h, putting the focus on both particulate matter (PM) and indoor pollutants such as formaldehyde.
Users can actively monitor the air quality on the device using a large colour display, reflecting both PM2.5 and PM10 levels, along with temperature, humidity and overall air-quality indicators. There is an option to connect the purifier with the Xiaomi Home app to remotely monitor the quality, as well as adjust settings, schedule purification cycles, and check filter life.
The purifier uses what Xiaomi calls its PentaClean purification system, which combines five-stage filtration with activated carbon, UV-C light and negative ion technology. Xiaomi claims it can circulate clean air through a 108 sq ft room in around 3.5 minutes under its test conditions.
Other features include Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support for compatible voice-control functions and a Sleep Mode, reducing the noise to as low as 32db and making it suitable for use overnight.
