The top variant with 12GB RAM will cost Rs 26,999.As you'd expect, the smartphone can run popular demanding games like BGMI, Call of Duty, and Genshin Impact smoothly. The gameplay and graphics were even better than I expected, thanks to the dedicated graphics chip (made with PixelWorks), which enhances HDR and keeps the frame rates steady. Infinix has optimised BGMI to support "extreme+" frame rates (up to 90Hz) with smooth graphics. Call of Duty is also playable with high graphics settings.Compared to some direct competitors, the Infinix GT 20 Pro manages thermals more efficiently as it utilises VC Liquid cooling tech. You can expect far superior thermal management with the GT Cooling fan accessory. Even the GT Sleeves for thumbs bundled with the special package significantly help if you have sweaty fingers. The GT Mecha case also provides a firm grip while using the smartphone in a horizontal orientation.Apart from gaming, the Infinix GT 20 Pro offers many features and customisation options. My top picks are gaming themes and Mecha Loop lighting. The smartphone ships with the latest XOS, based on Android 14, and it deserves praise for having fewer pre-installed apps, providing a relatively cleaner Android experience. Some pre-installed apps are still there, but they can be uninstalled.

Similar to its predecessor, the Infinix GT 20 Pro is headlined by a 108MP camera, which gets OIS (optical image stabilisation) support. There are two more sensors on the back for macro and portrait shots. The front panel houses a 32MP camera inside a tiny hole-punch cutout.By default, the Infinix GT 20 Pro prioritises balanced colours and white balance. As a result, photos may appear slightly bright while maintaining minimal contrast and shadows, all in a good way. If you opt for AI-backed colour optimisation, the image can appear vibrant, perhaps more vibrant than the actual scene. This may resonate with some users who want to up their social media game, but one's got to be mindful while using the feature.The primary camera also gets utilised for portrait shots, and the results are decent. The Infinix GT 20 Pro does an impressive job with the bokeh effect and edge detection. However, with human subjects, the phone tends to beautify the skin complexion, even when the feature is disabled. As a result, the output can appear unnatural, although some users might appreciate the flawless effect on their skin. When it come to accurately detecting shades of red, the camera could do with some improvement. In my experience, the software turned orange spots into red and red into light pink. Mind you, this happens seldom, and some native editing tools can help with the fix.The same colour science applies to videos. The Infinix GT 20 Pro offers 4K recording at 60fps, a boost in the segment. The OIS again does a decent job with stability, even in 4K. The front camera gets 2K recording support, a rarity among smartphones in the price range. I am also impressed with the still and video performance of the 32MP front camera. The smartphone tends to smoothen facial details, though it is capable of detecting a near-accurate complexion. As I said, there are users who prefer a flawless photo, so it's not necessarily a bad feature. Needless to say, there's always room for improvement.Using the front camera can be highly fun on the Infinix GT 20 Pro as the phone offers native tools for Snapchat-inspired AR filters under portrait mode. This fun element will surely resonate with a lot of users.However, like most smartphones in the segment, low-light photography with the Infinix GT 20 Pro needs refinements. At first glance, images will appear acceptable, but upon closer inspection, you may notice graininess and inconsistent colours. You can enable the Super Night mode for some respite, but that may require stable handles or a tripod for crisper shots. You may also notice grains in the image taken in daylight, but it is easily fixable via an OTA update in the future.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro gets a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging. While the charging speed is respectable, it's worth mentioning that many rivals have started providing at least 67W charging. The battery backup won't disappoint though.In fact, with the highest settings enabled (144Hz and performance mode) and RGB lighting on the back constantly, I got a full-day battery backup. Even in PCMark's battery test, it took nearly 10 hours for the battery to drop from 100 to 20 percent - again a respectable figure.
