Hi all, n n I bought this phone last week and its not working now. I tried all means of contact info given on their website. But, no response. Also there are no loca service centers for this company. I request flipkart to avoid cheating co like xolo and save your reputation. I don't know what to do now. You can also search on the net about consumer complaints, you will find much more about this fraud company called xolo. Don't fall for ads.nnDon't even fall for other positive reviews here, which I suspect the trap by xolo itself.nnBut flipkart and their seller network must avoid selling this fraud company's phones.n:-(
Hi review readers!ngreetings!nfirst off i am not a good review writer, so my apologies at first.nnLooks and build of this phone is solid and nice, its a little plasticky but its okay considering the price. Yes its sleek to hold.nnDisplay is excellent. Touch sensitivity is good but not great.nnHardware mtk 6589m vs mtk 6589 is mtk 6589 supports full hd and mtk 6589m supports hd, and mtk 6589m uses solder bumps and mtk 6589 uses copper bumps. which is bga process. and i wonder why are people screaming and shouting? Do they know even whats a bga is and what are different types of bga and materials used for bga assembly. if you dont know you may like to silence your tone a little bit. Unless you have to play all videos in Full 1080p resolution you need not make this gigantic fuss about it. period.n4 GiB nand flash is a serious issue. After the 1 year usual warranty? i may upgrade the nand flash to 32 gb or 64 gb. which is a pop package, package on package. where ram and flash are snadwiched to give a better real estate saving. Ram is 1 GB terrible. i may also upgrade the ram. nOS android 4.2 jelly bean, horrible, too much and too many bloatwares are present. you need to cook a custom rom and then install it. unless you are a developer you may shun away from the r&d. you mess with it you pay for it unless "YOU KNOW" what you are doing. noverall, this is a good phone. value for money, still more were expected but well like i said a value phone for the money spent. so it gets 3.5/5.0 from me. since i cant give 3.5/5.0 i am giving it 4.0.ni seriously dont understand if you dont know the basics of the architecture and its working why do you people make so much fuss about something. nnMTK 6589M IS REALLY AS GOOD AS MTK 6589, EXCEPT 6589M CANT PLAY FULL HD i.e. 1080p, OTHER THAN THIS UNLESS YOU ARE INTO DEVELOPMENT YOU WILL FIND NO MAJOR DIFFERENCE. IF YOU WISH TO PLAY THEN YOU NEED THE CODEC AND COMPILE IT MANUALLY AND INSTALL. AND YOU CAN ALSO OVERCLOCK THE GPU BUT IT WILL BE COUNTER PRODUCTIVE. IT WILL EAT UP YOUR BATTERY. THIS IS NOT YELLING. BUT TO MAKE PEOPLE READ AND UNDERSTAND (IF THEY WISH TO). IF YOU OVER CLOCK YOU ARE SCREWING YOUR BATTERY. OVERCLOCKING CAN BE A TABOO IN MOBILE WORLD. UNLESS YOU GOT 4-5 EXTRA BATTERIES. THE SOC AKA MTK 6589/ MTK 6589M ARE OPERATIONALLY ONLY *FULL HD/HD CAPABLE* DIFFERENT. ELSE ITS SAME FABRICATION PROCESS ALMOST EXCEPT THE BGA WHICH BINDS THE CPU/GPU INTO THE MAINBOARD. UNLESS YOU ARE INTO DEVELOPMENT HOW DOES IT BOTHER YOU?nnI hope the caps helps people who cant read or got some serious vision related issues. you may find my review against people's generic expectations. but thats how the real world is. you get what you pay for. there are other costly phones which less stuffs than desired for. this phone is value for money and i would buy 3 phones like these than spend 30k on some other smart phone. thanks and i am done with.n-paul
