As said earlier, the Lenovo Ideapad 100 (80MJ00MTIH) laptop misses out preloaded Windows, thereby the expense of the user gets a little higher. Keeping Windows OS aside, this model has sound battery backup and the RAM performs very well when it comes to handle multitasking. But then again, this laptop has average processor which is very common in this price tag.

The Lenovo Ideapad 100 (80MJ00MTIH) laptop comes with a 15.6-inch HD LED TN GL (Flat) display and measures 378 x 265 x 22.6 mm. It is available in black coloured body and weighs 2.3Kg. The system is driven by a 2.1GHz Intel Pentium quad-core N3540 processor aided by 4GB of DDR3 RAM which is expandable upto 8GB. One can play mid level games due to the presence of inbuilt Intel HD graphics engine. The device boots on DOS operating system, thereby the users need to spend a little extra money in order to enjoy Windows OS.

Camera and Connectivity

One can enjoy video calling apps namely - SKYPE, Hangouts, Jitsi, ooVoo etc with the help of a 0.3MP webcam armed above the bezel. Connectivity options include Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, one USB 2.0 slot, one USB 3.0 slot, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and 4-in-1 card reader (SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC).

The device derives its energy from a 4 cell li-ion battery which claims to run the show up to four hours. For storing data files, the user can make use of a 500GB SATA HDD which revolves at a speed of 5,400RPM. The laptop packs in three input devices - touchpad with multi-touch gestures support, full size keyboard and 8 x 9mm super multi (tray In) drive.
