Display and Configuration
The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 500 (80NA004PIN) laptop comes with a 14-inch full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) IPS antiglare LED backlit display. The system is driven by a 2.5GHz AMD quad-core A8-7410 processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and integrated AMD Radeon graphics engine. The RAM is expandable upto 8GB and the laptop boots on Windows 7 Home Basic edition operating system.
Storage, Input Devices and Camera
The laptop offers dual storage - a 500GB SATA hard disk with 5,400RPM speed and an 8GB solid state drive. In order to input data in the system, there are two devices - a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support and a full size keyboard. There is a webcam with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels which is stacked above the bezel. The user can enjoy video calling, recording and capture images.
Connectivity and Battery
In terms of networking, the laptop features options namely - Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0, one USB 2.0 slot, two USB 3.0 slots, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, a VGA port and a 4-in-1 card reader (SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC). The laptop is fuelled by a 4 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup upto five hours.
