Verdict
The Lenovo CG Slate is a Tab for the kids with average features. It has inbuilt application of NCERT syllabus that allows to learn anywhere. The battery backup is also good, If you are looking for a mid range Tab, you can give it a try.

Display and Design

The Lenovo CG Slate features a 7-inch IPS LCD display of 600 x 1,024 pixels resolution and a 170ppi of pixel density. It has a slim profile and is quite heavy in weight, at around 269 grams. It is available in only Ebony colour. 

Configuration and OS

It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor seated in MediaTek MT8127 chipset along coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Mali-450 MP4 GPU takes well care of the gaming and multimedia department. It runs on Android v5.0 (lollipop) OS.

Multimedia and Storage

For imaging, it incorporates a 2MP rear camera with digital zooming feature to capture the pictures. It also takes care for the selfie lovers by 0.3MP front facing camera. The 8GB internal storage allows to store the data and files that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It also support OTG.

Battery and Connectivity

The device is backed by a 3,450mAh Li-ion non-removable battery. In terms of connectivity, it incorporates Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB 2.0, etc. It has an inbuilt application of NCERT Syllabus for the kids to get prepared for the exams.
