The Lenovo Thinkpad G50-80 (80E501U3US) laptop has a powerful processor and ample amount of RAM for heavy multitasking needs. The performance and the battery backup is excellent. The user can enjoy good quality HD resolution video calling and recording from the webcam present. However, a Full HD display or dedicated GPU would have become an extra package for the user.

The Lenovo Thinkpad G50-80 (80E501U3US) laptop features a 15.6-inch HD BrightView LED Backlit Anti-Glare display which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Under the hood, there is a 2.2GHz Intel Core i5-5200U processor coupled by 6GB of RAM and an integrated Intel HD 5500 GPU. The laptop runs on Windows 8.1 Home Basic operating system floating upon 64-bit architecture. The laptop comes in textured black coloured body which is shiny and glossy. It measures 384 x 265 x 25mm and weighs 2.1Kg.

The user can enjoy video calling by installing apps such as SKYPE with the help of a 720p webcam present above the bezel. One can also shoot videos and post in websites such as YouTube or share it on personal ground. A touchpad with multi-touch gestures support full-size island style keyboard With numeric keypad and a DVD writer are the input devices available in the Lenovo Thinkpad G50-80 (80E501U3US). The laptop gets its energy from a 4 cell li-ion battery which claims to keep the show running for long hours.
