The  Lenovo Thinkpad T440 (20B7004PUS) laptop features a quick responsive fingerprint scanner for security means. The performance and battery backup is excellent for daily usage. However, the price falls on the higher side as one can expect a lot of upgraded elements in this budget.

Display and Configuration
 
The Lenovo Thinkpad T440 (20B7004PUS) laptop comes with a 14-inch HD LED backlit display and runs on Windows 8 professional operating system. It has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Inside the laptop, there is a 1.9GHz Intel Core i5-4300U processor which acts a brain of the system. The processor is aided by 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an onboard Intel HD Graphics 4400 GPU. The user can increase the RAM capacity upto 8GB for better performance.
 
Camera and Storage
 
For image clicking, video calling and shooting, there is a webcam stacked above the display screen. It supports 720p HD recording and captures good quality clear videos. In terms of storage, the Lenovo Thinkpad T440 (20B7004PUS) houses a 500GB SATA hard disk in which one can store a large number of different files. The hard disk revolves at a super fast speed of 7,200 revolutions per minute and performs well.

Networking options include a Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 3.0 slots, one USB 2.0 slot, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.
